perhaps for juniors,3/4 years seems a very long time.
how much i envied my seniors each year when it was time for them to step down.
its just how life is for everyone when its your time there's a sense of attachment.however much anti band i was,(which everyone knew)
i was never much the pro bander,i sighed and whined before each band practice.
now there not even a chance for me to do that anymore.
like what my ex ex ex bm said (okay i sound pretty old) anyway it was denise's and brenda's batch.they said even if their cca points were all taken away they would still gladly come for band,it never occured to me that one day perhaps i will say that too.
but the friendship i've forged in band and the attachment to my clarinet,is one hard to explain.though many of you sec1s joined band because you thought playing the drumset was cool,well if you learned the clarinet or rather anything well,the drumset is nothing to you.being in the band is not all work and no play,well genting competition is coming up,well if you guys get a bronze dont be disappointed its a internation competition.if you all get a silver,be awfully proud!if you all get a gold IM SO DAMN PROUD!
so as the seniors leave the stage for the younger ones to take over. :)
do us proud.

hello everyone.
just read through all your blogs, and i was so close to tears. i'm gonna miss ya'll so much too! 4 years just passed by like that, superrr fast! looking back through my 4 years, the ride has been great. and now that we've stepped down, there's this sense of emptiness in my heart. but all good things must come to an end right.
it IS about time anyway, that we start stopping out "mother-hen" duties, and give that responsibility to the sec3s. i know there were 9 of us, and now 4 of ya'll. but i'm sure you would still do a good job. the seniors before our batch have proven that.
i know everything's very new and some what scary, the sec2s finally realising that you're now a senior with the sec1s joining main band soon, and the sec3s to realise that you guys are finally the seniors of the section and band. and this is the time when the section is at its weakest, without the sec4s around. but this is also the time when you improve the most. when you realise that there's no one to back you up anymore. this is the time when you guys start growing up. in a sense, i'm actually happy that this is happening, so that we can finally stop fussing and stressing over the section politics. (yes every year there is bound to be so just be prepared!) it's time the sec 3s step up to be the leaders and settle this, most preferably without our help.
yieks i sound so serious and everything. i should be more cheerful :D i think some red would help in the dark blues and grays. haha.
so now on a more lighter note (with lighter colours), thanks for being the nicest juniors anyone could ask for. despite all the bitchings before, you've a place in my memories of band.
THANKS! for being the nicest juniors anyone could ask for. i know i'm much closer to some of you than the rest, but you'd have still been very nice and sweet. thank you!
we'd be here behind you. and yes, i welcome the juniors to visit me if you miss me too much ;p it'll be nice to see you'll once in a while anyway.
oh yes, last thing. the new sl and asl have not been announced yet, so i have no idea who they are. but whatever the case is, mr chan and sir choose them, so please cooperate with your new sl and asl all rights?

hello everyone!! first of all thanks manwah for the pretty flowers ((: i loved them. by the way there were extras so i gave them to mr chan and eunice. hope u dont mind. okay the princess here has officially stepped down from ij band. thanks people for everything u've done for me. and especially to those people who gave me those really huge and nice warm hugs yesterday. they really made me feel better. i hope u all wont miss me too much yea? i'm coming down on saturday so u all can still see me then. or, u can drop by 4/3 classroom to look for me if u miss me too much.roseann's class is just next door so u can go see her too i'll be more than glad to see u people. anyways, ann-marie can u just leave my reeds and everything in the case first? i will come and clear them soon. and i will wash the swab too. and u can officially own that clarinet unless they assign u a new one.
charmaine is our new QM. u people must cooperate with her yea? take good care of your reeds and don't bother her too much. hehe.

hellos. heres the newly crowned princess(crowned by amelia) blogging. this princess is blogging here because she is too lazy to go get her own blog so yah.((:
hmm. its 2 days to stepping down. i'm really feeling weird. although i was counting down to it, i have to admit that it really doesnt feel good now that saturday is approaching soon. this 4 years in band has been GREAT. was just listening to fantasia V recording just now. it has definitely brought back wonderful memories. especially the percussion ensemble part. ((: band has played such a big part in my life in ij. performances, syfs, making wonderful friends. everything. the thought of stepping down, not being able to play my clarinet and having nothing to do on monday afternoons and saturdays is wierd. these days will feel so empty. i've never imagined that i would be feeling so much now. its kinda hard to put it down in words. i'll defintely miss band. and u people too. band would have been different without all of you.
